For rising 4th-6th graders

How do scientists uncover Earth’s history? Find out with two days of hands-on learning with STEM coordinator, Ms. Heather, at the library, followed by a tour and activities at Passaic County’s new Archaeological Center in Ringwood! Learn about the fields of paleontology and archaeology, as well as the science skills used in both. Activities include fossil casting, rock and mineral identification, and modelling archaeological excavation and reconstruction.
