This multi-week, interactive series will introduce you to Canva, a popular design platform. We’ll first take a look at the many graphic design platforms available. Then, we’ll cover the basics of Canva and learn about the platform’s popular features that allow you to design almost anything — from greeting cards to posters. With the help of your trainer and classmates, you’ll use those features to create a project with Canva!

The series entails:
– Graphic Design Tools (lecture) 
– Getting Started with Canva (workshop) 
– 2 additional hands-on sessions to bring your design to life – work on a project for the Holidays!

Prerequisites: This series is best suited for participants who are comfortable performing internet searches and filling out forms online.

Senior Planet Tech classes are instructed by Tech Services Supervisor, Heather, and are geared to those 55+, but all adults are welcome. Ringwood Public Library is licensed parter with AARP’s Senior Planet OATS (Older Adults Technology Services) program.
