The Ringwood Public Library is the Place for Your Educational, Recreational and Cultural Connection!
The Friends of the Library work to provide our library with additional resources for programs, services and equipment to best serve our community.
Everyone is welcome to join The Friends. Annual dues are just $5. You must also be a member of the Library Association to join The Friends. The dues for the Association are also $5.

For everyone: Annual Book Sale: October 12-14, 2017. Book donations accepted Oct. 7-11.
On April 29, the Friends invited children's author, Lauren Tarshis, to speak at the library. Ms. Tarshis is the author of the popular "I Survived..." series. She read the first two chapters of her new book about the Battle of Brooklyn during the American Revolution due out in August and spoke about how she became a writer. She encouraged all the children to practice what they want to do to become successful.
On April 20, Richard Stillman entertained both the young and the young-at-heart with music, rope tricks, and tap-dancing!
On March 31, the Friends hosted Dinner at Berta's Chateau in Wanaque. This delicious fundraiser earned over $1000 for the library!!
To propose and support programs and services offered by the Ringwood Public Library through community advocacy and fundraising.

- Community Events: St Patrick’s Day Pre-Parade Family Fun Event, Author Visits
- Free Programs: Baby Disco, Book Bingo, Battle of the Books
- Community Advocacy: maintenance of the Book Swap Shelf at the Center for Family Resources
